Razer’s ForgeTV pre-orders show up on Amazon for $149

Back during CES 2015 we got to check our Razer’s upcoming set top box called ForgeTV as well as the peripherals that it will be supporting. Since then Razer has been working to get this new set top box into consumer’s hands as soon as possible and it looks like that will be happening soon as pre-orders have appeared on Amazon for a Razer ForgeTV bundle.

The Razer ForgeTV bundle comes with the set top box itself as well as one game controller. However, Forge TV can support up to 4 controllers for in-house multiplayer gameplay. Since it runs on Bluetooth, the Forge TV set top box can support any Bluetooth-compatible peripheral as well which Razer also has in the works such as the Turret Lapboard and mouse combo.

Hardware-wise the Forge TV is packing it pretty nicely with a  Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Quad-core running at 2.5GHz which is teamed up with an Adreno 420 GPU. There will also be 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Ports include HDMI, USB 3.0, and an Ethernet port. Running all of this will be Android TV and is Google Cast ready. It also has a built-in feature that allows you to play PC games on it.

Pre-orders for the Razer Forge TV are live now on Amazon for $149.99 and according to the site, pre-orders should be shipping out around May 1st, 2015. If you missed our hands-on with the Razer Forge TV, you can check that out here.
