Our friends at Wizcorp, the company behind the porting of the upcoming DOFUS game for tablets, have told us that they are also currently working on another port and this is for their Striker Arena game, which was released onto iOS in March 2015. This game is arriving onto Android because Wizcorp’s Kickstarter campaign to bring Striker Arena to other platforms was successful.
So what is Striker Arena? This game pits three different ‘tribes’ (Vikings, Samurai, and Gladiators) against each other in a battle to see who is the best. Instead of all-out war, the Emperor of the realm makes these tribes battle it out in the old tradition, Soccer of the Gods. This isn’t your normal soccer game though as there are no fouls, so you can literally punch an opponent in the face, or worse, to get the ball.
If the Android version follows the iOS version in terms of features, this is what we can expect to see in Striker Arena on Android:
– Viking team and its Snowy Cathedral Arena, Gladiator team and its Colosseum, Samurai team and its Dojo
– Each arena has its own traps and surprises
– Quick Match mode: 2 players on the same device

Players will be controlling their own Striker team and its players, making them move around the playing field, passing the ball, and attempting to score as many points as possible by kicking the ball into the arena vortex. Players will be able to pick up special abilities that show up on the field, allowing them to tackle, punch and blast their opponents.
Striker Arena is currently still being worked on for Android. With that said, there is no specific release date as of yet. If it follows the same pricing as the iOS version, Striker Arena will be around $2.99 when it does come to Google Play. We will post an update when we find out when that will happen.
