[Nvidia Game Grid Tuesday] Now Playing: Bionic Commando

Each Tuesday, Nvidia Shield Tablet and Portable owners are treated to a new game or games, being added to the Nvidia Game Grid Streaming service. Guess what? It’s Tuesday, and that means a new game.

Today’s game is one I thoroughly enjoyed playing some time ago, when it was released on XBox. If you enjoy action games, then you should definitely check out Bionic Commando, today’s new game. Bionic Commando is firefights, jumping and swinging from high levels to take advantage of the environment to defeat your foes. There are some really nicely designed levels in the game. The main protagonist has special skills that allow him to take down his enemies, which this game is full of them.

“Bionic Commando see the return of the bionically-enhanced Nathan “R.A.D.” Spencer. Time has not been kind to Spencer. Five years after his heroic defeat of the Imperials, he has been betrayed by the government he swore to serve, imprisoned for crimes he didn’t commit, and sentenced to death.”– Capcom/Grin

The game was originally released in 2009 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. It was published by Capcom and designed by GRIN. Though the game has been out for a while, it is still a blast to play. If you own a Shield device, you can stream the game for free! Navigate your way to the Shield Hub on your device, and you can find Bionic Commando, recently added. Don’t miss out on this one. It is a modern classic.
