Legendary Games has announced the global release for Year 0 Tactics, a turn based combat game. Set in the post-apocalyptic Year 0 universe, where the US Government has declared a “rebirth” of the nation, hence the calendar has been reset to “year zero”.
Players are looking to eek out a meager existence. Unlike the origional Year 0 though, players assume control of a band of marauders this time, instead of trying to survive them. Players will will be responsible to build and defend their own marauder base and upgrade their soldiers, while raiding the bases of others to claim their resources as your own, due to a scarcity of them to begin with.

The developer’s stress that all of “the raids are real-time, against real people in a turn-based war game”, which we guess means that there’s no single-player gameplay.
