Nexon M had a couple of game related items to announce at E3 2015, one of which being the earlier news this morning regarding the Industrial Age update for their city building multiplayer strategy game DomiNations. The other was a whole new game called Beasts vs Bots, which is a multiplayer RTS game that is heading to Android.
Beasts vs Bots will pit players angainst one another in head-to-head live synchronous battles with the overall goal of destroying your opponent’s base. This will require you to have a rather large army at your command. Along the way, if you have any pesky city buildings or other structures in your way, you can destroy those as well. This particular game is a full-featured RTS title, just like you would find on consoles or PCs, but with controls designed for mobile devices. This means you will have everything from resource gathering to buildings structures, hiring military units to research new technology, and everything else you would find in a full RTS game.
Beasts vs Bots brings real-time strategy gaming to mobile. As the title of this game suggests, players will either take control of an invading alien race of robots, bent on taking over Earth and harvesting all of its natural resources, or a race of ancient beasts who become awoken when the robots arrive and plan to protect Earth from these invading aliens. Players will have the ability to select and move individual troops, groups of troops, or all troops of a certain type, which can come in quite handy.
Right now Beasts vs Bots does not have a specific release date, only that it will be out on Android and iOS later this year. We are pretty certain there will be a beta testing phase of some kind, so if/when that happens, we will post an update.
