Square Enix unleashes Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation onto Android today

Square Enix has brought another Dragon Quest game to Android devices today and this time it is Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation. For those of you who follow the series in order, Dragon Quest VI is the final chapter of the Zenithian trilogy, which takes place in two parallel worlds, all of which is to save your world from having darkness engulf it.

Dragon Quest VI has players once again assuming control of our young hero who is out searching for the truth about the world he lives in, as well as the ‘phantom realm’ that co-exists with his world, some of which is embedded in his memories. Unfortunately he has lost those memories so part of finding out the truth is recovering those lost memories. While you are trying to recover your memories, you’ll be having to deal with plenty of monsters who are out to stop you.

Dragon Quest VI Features:

● Loyal Companions: On their travels, players will recruit a following of faithful friends in the riven realms, from wandering warriors to amnesiac teens. Faithful companions can be instructed to fight to bring down even the toughest enemies with ease.
● Master of Abilities: Heroes and their companions can complete vocational training at Alltrades Abbey to learn and master a multitude of spells and special abilities.
● The Slimopolis: Players can recruit, train and battle slimes in the Slimopolis to test their mettle in a series of arena battles with fabulous prizes on offer for any slime tough enough to emerge victorious.
● Slippin’ Slime: For a break between battles, this slime-sliding mini-game challenges players to maneuver around perilous pitfalls and obstinate obstacles.
● The Casino: Players can try their hand at the poker tables and slot machines and exchange tokens for rare and unique prizes.

Like most Square Enix RPGs, Dragon Quest VI is a team-based title, so you will be meeting up with new heroes that can be added to your team, all with their own unique abilities. Mini-games also make their appearance in this title, with SLippin’ Slime being pretty fun as well as the The Casino also making its appearance as well. Lastly, there is a Quick Save feature, so you can save your game at any time, like right before you lose everything you have in the Casino.

If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on this game, Dragon Quest VI is now available off of Google Play for $14.99. Also, as a heads up, in case you weren’t aware of this, Dragon Quest VI is a portrait mode only game, so there is no landscape mode to play it in.
