Storm Rush makes the trip from iOS to Android today

Storm Rush is a first-person racing game that was originally released onto iOS but is now finally available on Google Play. Developed by Popcorn Entertainment, Storm Rush has players dealing with a never ending road, full of obstacles that you’ll need to avoid while going at a high rate of speed.

The premise of this game is simple enough, get as far as you can. Actually mastering the game enough to get far is a whole different story. The road starts off easy, and you aren’t going to fast, but the longer to survive, the harder it gets. The speed picks up with more and more glowing towers appearing in front of you in different positions which you need to avoid.

While hitting a tower pretty much ends that round, doing so is pretty entertaining to watch. This is because the entire road and towers are made up of slabs, and hitting a tower essentially sets of a chain reaction where everything explodes a part. However, if you want a bit of a different challenge, there is also Rush Mode as well. This is where players will need to be as fast as possible while racing against the clock. You will get more time added to the clock if you successfully keep reaching the next checkpoint. Hitting a tower in this mode doesn’t end the round though, it just slows you down.

Storm Rush is available off of Google Play for $1.99 and comes with no IAPs either. So you get the whole game when you buy it. You can see the game in action in the video below.
