We’ve reported on pretty much most of Nickervision Studios’ releases on Android, mainly because they are pretty fun and enjoyable minimalistic arcade games. There’s Pivot, Bing Bong, and others that have been released over the last little while, all of which are pretty fun. Three of those games now have new ‘Reborn’ versions, all of which have been released today on Google Play.
Both versions of these three games feature the same cool minimalistic visual style, the one-touch controls, and the fast-paced gameplay. The difference between each version though is that these “Reborn” editions incorporate all the new game design technique the developer has been learning over the past little while.
As the developer comments about the Reborn version differences over the older versions of these games:
I created it because of all the new development techniques I have learned since originally creating Bing Bong. This way I have a new slicker, smoother version of the game available for both new and old players; and those that love the original can continue to play it as well. So what are the three ‘Reborn’ games? They are Pivot, Bing Bong, and Righty Tighty, except now they have “Reborn” in their names and much smoother gameplay.
Bing Bong Reborn
In this game players will be touching the screen to slow down the green ball and releasing the screen when you want to speed it back up. The goal is to avoid all the obstacles and last as long as possible, getting as high of a score as you can.
Pivot Reborn
In Pivot Reborn, you will be doing a similar action as you would in Bing Bong. However, the result is different. In this game when you touch the screen, your blue circle will pivot in the opposite direction it was going in. Doing this allows you to avoid obstacles and collect points, with the overall goal being to last as long as possible.
Righty Tighty Reborn
This game is a bit different than the first two. In Righty Tighty you tap the screen to make your circle turn right. Unlike the other game, this one actually has a zone you are trying to get to, called the Goal Zone. Like the other game though, your goal is to get the highest score possible.
All three games are now available on Google Play for free and do include optional IAPs as well to remove ads for $0.99. You can also just skip downloading the free versions and buying the IAP to remove ads by purchasing the premium editions of these Reborn titles right away.
