Released by Yoojos, Hoba Wars is a whack-a-mole inspired game. Players set out to destroy the evil Hoba, colored in red, by tapping on them when they poke their heads out from their craters. Other innocent Hoba need to be protected, but these green colored Hoba will poke their heads out just the same.
The game begins with thirty seconds on the clock, as players strive to see how many red Hoba can be destroyed during that time; each successful tap on red Hoba awards bonus time to the player, thus extending the game. There is also a boss to be defeated, yet interestingly enough, the boss can be challenged at any time the player sees fit. The longer the player holds off on facing the boss though, the weaker it becomes.
