[Gamescom 2015] Vivid Games releases the first trailer and more details for their upcoming Real Boxing 2 game

Gamescom 2015 has officially begun this week and there is plenty of mobile gaming news heading our way all week. While we will be scouring the show floor for all things related to Android gaming, we also have plenty of meetings set up and one of those meetings is with Vivid Games to get some hands-on time with Real Boxing 2. However the company has released the first teaser trailer for their game already.

When we originally reported on this game heading our way, we didn’t have too many details available about it. That has changed since Gamescom 2015 has started and we now have more details. First, we now know Real Boxing 2 was made using Unreal Engine 4 which means plenty of eye candy and realism when beating the crap out of your opponent. We also know that players will be able to create their own boxers, with the options of four different classes and hundreds of unique items to customize your fighter to how you want.

As for game modes, Real Boxing 2 will have both single-player content as well as multiplayer game modes including a Career mode. There will even be ‘bosses’ that you can beat for additional rewards and Events to participate in. There will also be ‘contracts’ to take on, most likely for money.

There is now a pre-registration for Real Boxing 2 where if you sign-up, you will receive rewards when the game officially launches on Google Play. Signing up will also land you the opportunity to play in the beta when it starts. When Real Boxing launches, it will be free-to-play. Unfortunately we don’t know exactly when it will be released.

We are, however, meeting up with Vivid Games this week for hands-on time with Real Boxing 2, so hopefully we can dig up a release date as well. So stay tuned for our hands-on preview coming later this week. In the meantime, you can check out the new trailer in the video above. If you have any questions you want us to ask Vivid Games, let us know in the comments below. Don’t forget, we will also be checking out Vivid Games’ other unannounced project at Gamescom.
