Glitch is a new Android game that becomes more unstable the better you do at it

Chaos Theory Games has released a rather unique game onto Android today called Glitch. This particular ‘die-and-retry’ arcade game is about intentional glitches which means the longer you manage to survive, the more unstable the game gets, making it increasingly more difficult to continue to live.

Glitch has players taking on the role of a Pac-Man style character that they will be moving through each stage, trying to enclose glitches and other deadly hazards within a ‘box’ you create by moving around. However, the better you do at this game, the more unstable everything gets, literally. So players will start to see glitches happening more often and on a more extreme level, a lot of which resemble what we old school gamers used to see in older arcade and console games.

Glitch Features:

– Endless mode! Beat your friends’ highscores through Google Play
– Levels! Over 30 unique levels with 6 different power ups
– Glitches! Over 30 to unlock
– Missions! Complete tasks on your bug list for extra lives
– Copyright issues! Wait, what?

As you progress through the game, additional glitches will get unlocked and you will have to learn how to deal with those when they actually start to appear during gameplay. As you can see in the last feature, there’s plenty of humor layered into this game as well.

GLTCH is rife with technical humour, puns, and references to other games. These elements are used to make a commentary on gaming culture. – Chaos Theory Games

For those of you interested in checking this game out, Glitch is now available for download off of Google Play for free with optional IAPs as well. You can also check out the craziness ahead of time through the trailer below.
