Spunge Games is a new game development studio that will be debuting their first mobile game in the coming weeks called Cartoon Survivor. This game features the torrid world of TV ratings and what producers will do to get those ratings. Actually it is about a producer’s last chance for a TV mega hit and his current ratings are at rock bottom.
[UPDATE: Thursday, August 13th, 6:49 AM, PST] Spunge Games colorful and fun game Cartoon Survivor has flown into the Google Play Store. We have played this game a bit before it being released today, and have enjoyed it so far. The game is free to download. It does include in-app purchases, should you choose to take advantage of them. [UPDATE: Sunday, August 9th – 11:55 PM, EST] Spunge Games has recently announced, that Cartoon Survivor will be making its way to Android this Friday, August 14th. We have been fortunate enough to spend some time playing this game already, and it is a blast to play. Once the game hits the Google Play Store this Friday, we will update this article to let you know.
So the producer’s last ditch effort to not fall into the gutter as a has-been is a new show called Cartoon Survivor which is basically about a Doo Doo Bird who has to run through an obstacle course in order to get to the finish line before the timer runs out. Of course this is easier said than done since the course is full of creatures who enjoy eating Doo Doo Birds and hazardous environments that just kills creatures regardless of what they are. Ironically, the timer is actually dynamite strapped to the bird’s back, so there is plenty of motivation for this bird to get to that finish line.

If anything the storyline sounds pretty entertaining and the game does look like it will be fun to play.
