Pixelbite Games is on a roll lately with releasing action-oriented games. Recently, Android gamers had the privilege of playing the sci-fi/western action game Space Marshals. Yesterday, Pixelbite released a teaser trailer for their latest action game Xenowerk.
[Update: August 13th, 2015 – 6:38, PST] This is a pretty big week for Pixelbite Games, as the final chapter of Space Marshals was released a couple of days ago. If you enjoy their games, then you will be glad to know that their other twin-stick shooter, Xenowerk is currently on sale. [Update: June 24th, 2015 9:13am PST:] We reported yesterday that Xenowerk would be coming to Android tomorrow. Well it seems as though Pixelbite has decided to release it a day early as it is now available on Google Play for download. Picking up a copy will cost you $1.99 which you can do through the new link at the bottom of this article.
[UPDATE: June 23rd, 2015 – 6:18 AM, PST] Pixelbite Games posted on their website yesterday, that their latest action game, Xenowerk will be arriving in the Google Play Store, Thursday, June 25th. The game, like Space Marshalls, will be a premium priced game and will be available to download for $1.99. It is shaping up to be a good week for action games. Once the game hits the Play Store, we will let you know.
We don’t know a lot about this game, because Pixelbite is keeping things under a tight lid for right now. We do know it is a top-down shooter in the vein of Space Marshals, which is a good thing. The game will be released sometime this summer for Android/iOS. Let’s hope it will be a dual release, as we had to wait a bit, before the Android version of Space Marshals was released.
The teaser trailer shows a very similar art style and game play of Space Marshals. If you have played Space Marshals and enjoyed it, this one should go on your wishlist as well. Once we find out more information on the release date, price and story line, we will pass it along to you.
