Nvidia’s Shield Android TV is now available from Google’s Store

Up until now you could only buy the Nvidia Shield Android TV off of Nvidia’s own website or places online such as Amazon. However, for those of you that enjoy buying their devices off of Google’s new storefront, you can now pick up the Nvidia Shield Android TV from there as well, complete with free shipping.

Both versions are available on Google’s Store as well, with the 16GB still being $199.99 and the 500GB coming in at $299.99 still. Other hardware/software specs, in case you forgot, include 3 GB of RAM, 4K Ultra HD video capture and playback, Google Cast, dual-band WiFi, Tegra X1 chipset, and an HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, microSD Card slot, micro-USB 2.0 port, and Dobly 7.1 and 5.1 surround sound.

You also get access to Nvidia’s GRID gaming on-demand service, Nvidia’s GameStream, Twitch streaming built-in, and other features. Regardless of which unit you pick up, you will also get one Shield Controller with your Shield Android TV. After you purchase your Shield Android TV unit, it should ship out to you in 1-2 business days.
