Final Fantasy: Record Keeper crossover event with Final Fantasy XIV begins today

Last month we reported on Square Enix hosting a crossover event between Final Fantasy: Record Keeper and Final Fantasy XIV. Well that crossover event has now begun as of today and players of Final Fantasy: Record Keeper will now be able to experience some of the popular content from the MMORPG.

This is a time-limited event called Flames of Vengeance which will add two new characters to the game. Players will need to defeat enemies within the Final Fantasy XIV dungeons that are now available in Final Fantasy: Record Keeper and in doing so will gain access to Thancred and Y’shtola. If you follow the storyline of these games then you will know that both characters are from the underground organization called The Scions of the Seventh Dawn. The Ruby Ring from Final Fantasy XIV has also been added to the game as a new accessory.

Flames of Vengeance will only run for a little over a week, so you don’t have all the time in the world to get these two characters. The event begins right now and ends at 5:00pm PST on September 30th, 2015. If you don’t have this game and want to pick it up, you can do so for free off of Google Play.
