ustwo, developers of the overly popular Monument Valley game, have announced that their next title will be arriving at the end of next month. Their next game, which is the Virtual Reality game Land’s End, will initially be released exclusively on the Samsung Gear VR headset.
For those of you who are not familiar with this game, Land’s End has been in development for a little while now, originally announced back in the middle part of last year. Visually, Land’s End looks quite good and the gameplay will be based off of where you are looking. Players will be forming different constellations with the rocks in each stage, with everything taking place around different uniquely designed islands.
The goal is to awaken an ancient civilization which is done by forming these constellations. Players will start off with a sort of tutorial first couple of stages in order to learn the game. Your first task is to look at a point on a rock, then draw a line to another point with a beam of light, which is done by turning your head. This is how you will be forming all of the constellations. From there you lift these constellations into the air with telekinesis in order to make them a reality.
Land’s End is a beautiful looking game that Samsung Gear VR owners get to play first while the rest of the world waits for a possible release on their headsets. If you own a Sangsung Gear VR headset, you’ll be able to download the game on October 30th, 2015. In the meantime, you can check out the new trailer for Land’s End in the video below while you wait.
