Release by Whitedog, makers of The Maze and Craftup, Little Ponchy is a vertical stylized endless runner. Players assume the role of Ponchy, who appears to be a little boy who wears a variety of animal costumes. Players will need to steer Ponchy clear of the various obstacles, avoid the bombs, and to see how long they can keep Ponchy going.
The gameplay is really straightforward, as Ponchy sits at the top of the screen, and is running towards the bottom while it scrolls a la the classic game Skiing from the Atari 2600. In addition to avoiding danger, players will have “red arches” to to steer through. The only way to control Ponchy is by tilting your phone, which causes him to move in the desired direction.
