True to the answer Jobs Stauffer gave on Twitter during his impromptu Q&A session the other day, where he stated that a new trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode would be arriving this week, this new trailer has finally arrived. The trailer shows off a bit more of the story, as well as the heroes, which will be coming in the first episode called Order of the Stone.
In case you have missed our previous coverage about this game, Minecraft: Story Mode has players taking on the role of Jesse, which you can choose as either being male or female. From there you begin your journey to save the world.
You’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse’s friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.
Minecraft: Story Mode episode 1 is still slated for release onto mobile platforms this October 15th. You can check out the new trailer below. PC and consoles will be getting the game a couple of days before mobile, on Oct. 12 and Oct 13th.
