A new indie game will be heading to Android soon that will put players into the role of a fugitive snowman. The game is called Frosty the Assassin, and the goal is to stay alive for as long as you possibly can. While Frosty the Snowman takes on a bit more of a sinister role in this game, he also looks rather creepy as well.
Update: November 6th, 2015 11:12am PST: Just a quick heads-up that Frosty the Assassin is now available for download off of Google Play. You can pick up a copy for free through the new link at the bottom of this article. There are no IAPs either. Thanks to the developer in the comments below for the update!
Frosty the Assassin came to life because of pail sitting outside of a jail that has evil magical powers was used in the creation of the snowman. Once the snowman was made, he came to life, and then the call went out to all the other magical creatures in the forest to kill said snowman. So you will have a lot to deal with when trying to stay alive. Luckily you have some weapons at your disposal including an icicle dagger, snowballs and, of course, the dreaded acid yellow snowballs.
Maps are randomly generated so each run of the game will be different. Spawning points for you and the creatures trying to kill you also randomizes. Unfortunately there isn’t a whole lot of additional details right now. We do have a promo video to check out above and a general release time frame of this Fall for an Android launch. When more details are available, we’ll post an update.
