Summoners War is a popular game from Com2uS that has been out for awhile now. Today the company has released a Halloween-themed update to celebrate the upcoming candy-filled holiday. The update brings a Trick or Treat event, surprise Halloween dungeons, special monsters and more.
To start off with, Summoners War now has 3- and 4-star Halloween-themed monsters available in-game. Since these are themed around Halloween, the only time you can get them is now. That’s the smallest feature of this update. On top of the new monsters you can collect, there is a new Trick or Treat Event as well. Players can acquire Halloween candies by chance upon clearing a Dungeon or Scenario Battle. Candies can be earned everywhere except the Secret Dungeons. For a limited time, the candies that you collect can that help power-up Runes.
The other part of this update is actually pretty interesting. It is called Surprise Halloween Secret Dungeon and players who partake in this can collect summoning pieces from the Secret Dungeon in order to summon to matching monster. Depending on what day it is, the monster changes:
Dark Monster Flower: Oct. 25 – Oct. 26
Dark Ghost: Oct. 26 – Oct. 27
Dark Mimick: Oct. 27 – Oct. 28
Dark Horned Frog: Oct. 28 – Oct. 29
Dark Sandman: Oct. 29 – Oct. 30
Dark Low Elemental: Oct. 30 – Oct. 31
This update is now available for download off of Google Play. The special events begin today and run through to November 2nd, 2015. After that date, they will no longer be available.
