[Update: Released] Vivid Games’ upcoming Real Boxing 2: Creed gets an official release date and a new trailer

Recently Vivid Games announced that Real Boxing 2: Creed was going to be the official game for the upcoming Creed movie. Since then the developers have been working on getting the game ready for release and now it looks like that time is drawing near.

Update: November 19th, 2015 8:23am PST: Fans of Real Boxing and Vivid Games can now grab a copy of Real Boxing 2: Creed off of Google Play for free. Now you can be coached by Stallone and fight some famous people as well. You can grab a copy through the new link at the bottom of this article. We have also added some screenshots to check out as well.

So what is Real Boxing 2: Creed? Well unlike the original Real Boxing 2 game, where the characters are not based off of anything at all, this new version will actually be based off of the upcoming movie. This means that there will be characters that appear in the movie also appearing in the game as well. Players will begins as an upstart boxer trying to make it big. You’ll be under the training of legendary boxer Rocky Balboa.

As you progress through the game you will be able to unlock levels, eventually leading to a fight with Adonis Johnson. Real Boxing 2: Creed features both a single-player campaign as well as multiplayer matches you can partake in. While Adonis Johnson is the first ‘legendary’ fighter you will encounter, future updates will bring additional iconic fighters from the Rocky movie franchise (such as Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, and Ivan Drago) into the game for you to get your face punched in by.

For those of you eagerly awaiting this game’s release, Real Boxing 2: Creed will be landing on Android this November 19th. When it does arrive, it will be available for download for free. In the meantime, you can check out the new trailer in the video below.
