Tengami is the first game produced by Nyamyam Ltd., an independent game developer located in the UK. The company was created in 2010 by Jennifer Schneidereit and Phil Tossell. When you play Tengami for the first time, it will be a visually fascinating experience, folded into a rich narrative . The vehicle used for telling the story in Tengami, will be an exquisitely designed pop-up book.
[UPDATE: Wednesday, November 4th, 2015 – 2:00 AM, PST] It is hard to believe that it has been over a year since we first reported on the beautiful puzzle game Tengami. We have been wanting to play this game for a while. It was released on iOS, then Steam, and now Android. If you are interested in checking out this stunning pop-up-book like puzzler, your wait is over. Nyamyam Ltd., has made Tengami available for purchase in the Google Play Store. The game cost $3.49 to download, and does not include any app purchases. We hope to have a review of the game soon. Tengami was released earlier this year on iOS and was extremely well received. Because of its unique game style presentation, the game has been recognized during Sense of Wonder Night 2012 (Official Selection), IndieCade 2012 (Finalist), SXSW (Gaming Award Finalist), and Big Festival Brazil 2014 (Finalist Best Art and Best Music), among many others. The game is currently in development for Android devices. Hopefully we will see the release of the game before the end of this year. It was recently greenlit on Steam, so PC users should be able to play the game soon.
