Ubisoft releases a mobile spin-off for their new Anno game for PC called Anno 2205: Asteroid Miner

The latest installment into the Anno franchise from Ubisoft was released a couple of days ago for PC called Anno 2205. Well the company has also released a mobile spin-off of Anno 2205 which is called Anno 2205: Asteroid Miner. This particular game has nothing to do with building your own futuristic city or anything like that though.

Anno 2205: Asteroid Miner is a match-3 puzzle game with over 180 levels to work your way through. Players will need to match three or more of the same mineral in a row in order to remove it from the playing field. Along the way you will be able to use drones to boost your game as well as research upgrades in your space station. The upgrades are used to unlock new skills and objects.

Anno 2205: Asteroid Miner Features:

– 180+ levels
– Over 120 different upgrades
– Does not require online access and can be played offline

Interestingly enough, while Anno 2205: Asteroid Miner is a standalone game, it also has some companion app qualities to it. Players can use this game to connect to Anno 2205 on their PC in order to transfer rare minerals from this game to the PC version. These minerals can then be used to speed up growth of your city you happen to be building.

For those of you who like this sort of game, or happen to be playing Anno 2205 for PC, you may want to check this spin-off out. Downloading this game won’t cost a penny although there are optional IAPs available. You can check out the trailer for this game in the video below.
