We don’t usually post about carrier announcements and such unless it is about a new device or something along those lines. However moments ago T-Mobile made an announcement that is actually pretty impressive. The company has announced that they will begin offering unlimited video streaming on their network for free, and have already included 24 of the most popular video streaming platforms already.
For users on the T-Mobile network, you will be able to watch as much video as you like, whenever you like, for however long you want to, and it won’t count towards your data usage. Apps already included in this feature include Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, HBO Go, HBO Now, Watch ESPN, Fox Sports, and Sling TV just to name a few.
Interestingly enough, both YouTube and Twitch are not supported right now with the new feature. However, we are guessing that those two sites will be added in the very near future. It wouldn’t make much sense leaving out the massive size of the gaming industry and gamers to that list. This is especially true since T-Mobile has stated that any service who wants to join this new uncapped video streaming feature are more than welcome to do so.
