Oddworld Inhabitants releases a new Oddworld game called Munch’s Oddysee onto Android

The Oddworld franchise just got a little bigger on mobile with the release of a new game called Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee. Once again players will be taking control of Abe as he ends up in another adventure, this time to reclaim the last remaining gabbit eggs on Oddworld.

Players will need to guide Abe, along with his partner Munch, through different locations on Oddworld. You will be using their special psychic powers to help deliver payback while you hunt down those last gabbit eggs. While this is the original Munch’s Oddysee game for PC, this version has had graphical improvements as well as enhancements done to the sound.

Munch’s Oddysee Features:

– Intuitive touch controls make playing & navigating a breeze
– HID controller support
– A hilarious script and compelling storyline with multiple endings
– Loads of depth, humor and charm
– Achievements & Cloud Save
– Includes everyone’s favorite Gamespeak screen for both Abe & Munch!
– Optimized for NVIDIA SHIELD with 4x MSAA

While players can use the touchscreen controls on their device, anyone with a controller can connect it to your device and play the game with that instead. The developers have also put a minimum requirement for hardware to properly play this game. You have to have at least a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU, 1 GB RAM with Adreno 220, Nvidia Tegra 3, ARM Mali 400-MP, PowerVR SGX 543MP, Intel HD Graphics or Vivante GC1000 GPU. Anyone with a Rockchip, Broadcom and Amlogic device is out of luck as those are NOT supported.

For those of you interested in this game, you can download Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee off of Google Play for a flat fee of $4.99 with no IAPs either. You can check out the game’s trailer below.
