[Update: Game Released] Gameloft releases a new developer diary video about their upcoming game Sniper Fury

Gameloft has been working on a sniper-themed game for about a year now called Sniper Fury. Today the company released a new developer diary video about Sniper Fury and a behind-the-scenes look at its making as well as some of the gameplay.

Update: December 2nd, 2015 – 7:06 PM, PST: Gameloft has released Sniper Fury. The game is free-to-play, and is now available to download in the Google Play Store. The game does include optional in-app purchases. The link to download the game can be found at the end of this article.

Update: November 18th, 2015: Just a quick heads-up for anyone interested in this game. Gameloft has sent word out that the release for Sniper Fury has been delayed and won’t be happening tomorrow. Instead it will be arriving on December 3rd, which is a couple of weeks from now.

Sniper Fury takes place in the near future where the world is on the brink of crumbling and all hell will break loose if that happens. Players will be deployed in hostile areas, either to complete objectives on their own, or providing support to fellow soldiers who are on the ground in the middle of the action. Of course there is a variety of weaponry available to use and there is a bullet cam to enjoy, which is a standard feature these days with sniper-based games.

We don’t have too many more details about this game in regards to the content, how much there is, if there is multiplayer, and other features we would like to know about. It does use the same engine that was used in making Modern Combat 5: Blackout, so the visuals are pretty solid looking. While we don’t have any pricing info, we can guess that it will be free to download with optional IAPs.

Sniper Fury is slated for release next week on November 19th. You can still pre-register for this game on its website and doing so will net you some exclusive in-game rewards when it launches.
