[Update: Released] See if you can “beat the beat” in Dub Dash, finally arriving onto Android next month

Set to be released by Headup Games, and developed by Incodra, Dub Dash is a new rhythm game that’s coming soon to Android, which we originally reported on back in September 2015. It was originally slated for release in Q4 2015, but as you can tell, it is a bit late on hitting Google Play. Today, however, we have a more specific release time for Dub Dash.

Update: February 16th, 2016 7:33am PST: For those of you who have been waiting for the release of this game, Dub Dash is now finally available for download off of Google Play. It was a little bit of a wait, but that’s over now. You can snag a copy of Dub Dash through the new link at the bottom of this article for free.

Being a game that’s heavily dependent on music, the developers do recommend that the game be played while using headphones. Speaking of the soundtrack, the music for Dub Dash is completely original and written by Bossfight, and DJs from Geometry Dash.

If you missed our last article, here is what Dub Dash is all about. The design is full of bright, neon colors that do a great job of grabbing attention. All of this is done at a fast pace and 60 fps. The developerss are also emphasizing the game’s difficulty, but completing the various practice modes earns the player save points to use during the levels. Dub Dash will employ several different mechanics that include spinning in harmony with the song, dodging left and right to avoid obstacles at high speed, flying like a bird, making hard 90° turns, and navigating a zig-zag trajectory.

Dub Dash Features:

· Driving electronic soundtrack
· Psychedelic graphical fireworks
· “Easy to learn, hard to master” gameplay
· All levels split in multiple gameplay sections
· Gameplay technically synched to the music in the minutest detail
· Direct social media connection as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
· Great soundtrack including tracks from Bossfight and DJs from Geometry Dash
· Challenge mode featuring randomly generated levels to earn extra lives
· Practice mode for every level
· Achievements

Dub Dash is slated to be released for free, and there’s no mention of ads or IAPs at this time. Chances are there will probably be some IAPs though. As for a release, it looks like Dub Dash will finally be landing on Google Play next month. While there’s no specific date for February, it will be arriving that month. So you won’t have to wait too much longer to play it.
