Square Enix Montreal has decided to put Hitman: Sniper on sale for a limited time, all to help kick off a rather cool in-game event. This event is all about killing a lot of people in a certain amount of time. If players manage to accomplish this goal, everyone will receive a rather large in-game prize.
The in-game event is pretty straightforward. The community is tasked with killing 2 million targets before the end of January 31st, 2016. If players succeed in reaching this goal, everyone in the game will receive 1,000,000 in in-game credits. However, if you’re one of the Top 10 players in this event, you will receive the rare Adagio sniper.
So to help kick off this massacre of global proportions, Square Enix has put Hitman: Sniper on sale for this weekend only at 60% off its regular price. So you’ll be able to pick this game up for $1.99 (regular price $4.99).
