[Update: Game Released] SuperPlus Games will finally be releasing Retro Shot this month, their mini golf and pinball hybrid title

SuperPlus Games, which is a new game development studio made up of ex-Rovio developers, has announced their newest game for mobile devices caledd Retro Shot. This particular game will be a blend of mini golf and pinball, all wrapped up into one game. If this all sounds familiar, it should. We actually reported on this game coming to Android back in October of last year.

Update: February 25th, 2016 10:13am PST: This cool pinball/mini-golf hybrid game has finally been globally launched onto Google Play this morning. For those of you who have been interested in snagging a copy of this game, you can now do so for free through the new link at the bottom of this article.

The goal in each level is to bounce your ball off of the walls and such in an attempt to get the ball to the goal. This is one of those games where everything sounds a lot easier than it actually is. The good thing is that there is a heavy arcade feel to the game, with plenty of retro neon visuals to check out as well. Like most games with this visual style, there usually is a good soundtrack to go with it.

Retro Shot Features:

– 3 game worlds: Laser Town, Technopolis and Sunset Beach
– 60 levels of arcade action
– 24 balls to choose and play with
– Collect riches and compete against friends
– Original synthwave soundtrack

According to the developers, there is a lot of content/levels in this game. On top of that, you can see a variety of different types of balls in the new release trailer which you can check out below. You can also see some of the rather interesting levels you will need to navigate.

For those of you waiting to get your hands on this game, it looks like SuperPlus Games will finally be ready to release Retro Shot onto Android most likely on February 25th, 2016, since the game’s official website says February 2016 and most games are released on Thursdays. Originally this game was supposed to arrive back in December of last year. Better late than never right! We will post an update once it does launch on Google Play.
