BulkyPix will be launching Flail Rider onto Android at the end of March

Catpancake and BulkyPix have teamed up for a new game called Flail Rider for Android devices which will be heading to Google Play at the end of this month. This particular game is a top-down driving and wrecking game where the goal is all about destroying stuff… a lot of stuff, and as fast as you can.

Players will take control of their vehicle, which is equipped with a wrecking ball, and drive around their current stage as fast as they can to destroy all that is there within 60 seconds. The more destruction you cause, the higher your score will be. When it comes to what you can destroy, if it’s in the level, you can crush it brutally. However, you do have to be careful as only the wrecking ball can destroy objects. If you run into something with your vehicle, it will be game over.

Flail Rider includes three different themed environments to run through: Snow, Desert, and a City. Each area has its own specifically themed power-up(s) for it as well as unique building constructions, whether it be high-rises, igloos, tree, pyramids, and so on. Once a certain percentage of the map is destroyed, warp zones allowing players to teleport to another zone open.

Flail Rider Features:

– Striking voxel graphics
– 50 vehicles spread in 3 classes (and more to come!)
– 3 locations to wreck – City / Desert / Snowland
– Crazy power-ups – Laser / Freeze / Big Flail / Boost
– Playable in both portrait and landscape orientations
– Leaderboards and Achievements

As for vehicle types, Flail Rider will be launching with over 50 types of vehicles to collect. These include vehicles such as a Retro Police Car, Tank, Monster Truck, Tuk-Tuk, Hotrod or the Cat Mobile. All vehicles are categorized into three types: Small, Medium and Large. Smaller ones are easier to handle and faster but do less damage because they have smaller wrecking balls. Large vehicles are slow but do far more damage with a larger wrecking ball.

Flail Rider is slated for release onto Google Play on March 31st, 2016 and will be free to download with optional IAPs available. In the meantime, you can check out the game’s trailer below to see some of the gameplay in action.
