[Update: Beta Launch] MildMania is bringing a new hero to Android. Cattch is coming soon.

MildMania is based in Ankara, Turkey. Their Chief Executive Ninja, Burkay Ozdemir, informed us that their new colorful puzzle/platforming game Cattch, will be coming to Android soon. Cattch released on iOS this week, and the Android version should be entering the beta phase this week. Based on what we have seen, this is a game we want to play as soon as possible.

Update: April 8th, 2016 12:10pm PST: The good folks at MildMania have hit us up to let you all know that they are going to start up a beta testing phase, pretty much right now or within a day or two. If you’re interested in participating in said beta, all you have to do is email the developers ( weare [at] mildmania [dot] com ) to get in.

If you aren’t familiar with MildMania, you should check out a couple of the games they have already released in the Play Store. Rop is a personal favorite of mine. It is a puzzle game with a minimalist design, but has brilliant game play. In Rop, you are trying to take a length of elastic rope and make it fit different configurations (puzzles). The game is fun and quite challenging, once you get much deeper into the game. The other title you may know is Darklings. It is a gesture-driven adventure game that has won several awards. Let’s Twist and Jelly Lab, round out their library of games available in the Play Store.

Cattch is a collaboration between Infected Pixels Studio and MildMania. Cattch stars the coolest cat we have seen since Garfield. Stylish in appearance, the main protagonist will encounter plenty of enemies and puzzles, on his quest to rescue his friends. Running, jumping, climbing, sliding and punching his way through a variety of environments, will make this game one to have on all of your devices. There appears to be a lot going on in the game, but the initial trailer for the game will show you far more than we could describe.

Cattch Features:

  • Cattch – The cutest hero
  • Smooth puzzle platformer
  • Brilliant world of Cubika
  • Dynamic world built of rotating blocks
  • Traps to avoid and friends to save
  • Amazing journey through 50 levels
  • Dozens of sweet stickers
  • Enhanced Gamepad support

We do know that beta testing is beginning this week for the Android version of the game. The game on iOS is a premium priced game selling for $1.99 We haven’t been able to confirm if the price will be the same for Android. Once we find out more about pricing and the actual release date, we will update this article. Until that time, check out the trailer for the game. It shows plenty of action, a variety of environments, and enough colors to fill a double rainbow. Cattch is coming soon, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
