SpaceHeist is a co-op multiplayer Android game that’s just recently landed on Google Play. In this game, you will be playing with another 1-2 players, all of whom are trying to escape a variety of different hazards while flying around in space. Since this is a co-op game, you’ll all need to work as a team in order to succeed.
Players will each pick the responsibility they want to do, whether it be piloting the spaceship, manning the weapons, or repairing any damages that do happen. All of this while trying to escape the space police who are after you for some reason. On top of that, you’ll need to worry about asteroids, reflecting solar flares, and all kinds of other problems.
Overall the game is pretty straightfoward in regards to picking it up and jumping right into playing it. The biggest challenge is to make sure the team you have with you is doing their job, so you don’t burn up, blow up, or get arrested. The multiplayer gameplay is local multiplayer, which means other players have to be near you to some degree. They can connect via Wifi, Bluetooth, and even through tethering.
For those of you interested in checking out this game, SpaceHeist is available off of Google Play for free. It does include one single IAP for $2.13 which is for unlocking the advanced ships earlier in the game instead of just earning enough to do it.
