With thanks to this Kickstarter campaign, episode 2 of the Bertram Fiddle franchise is being released onto the Android platform this Fall. Set in Victorian London, this episode revolves around Bertram having been framed (again) for a murder that he didn’t commit.
Unable to have captured Geoff the Murderer in Episode 1 (and subsequently landing a job at Dulsworth’s Soap Factory), the citizens of London collectively assumed that Geoff had gone his way, as his crime spree has apparently ended. After a brief respite, the murders are happening again, with Bertram in the middle of it all.
Like its predecessor, this game will also be a point-and-click adventure, and is supposed to be as funny as it is mysterious, with puns galore. The release date for this game is this coming November, but there was no specific pricing information given at this point. If episode 1 is any indicator, this game should be a flat $2, and should lack any IAPs along with it.
