I have enjoyed playing games from Klei Entertainment, primarily on my PC. Shank, Mark of the Ninja and Invisible Inc. are well-produced games. What most fans of Klei Entertainment games are excited about, is the mobile edition of Don’t Starve arriving on Android. Today we have good news, that some of you may have already heard about. Don’t Starve Pocket Edition is now in Open Beta in the Play Store.
UPDATE: Thursday, October 20th – 3:16 AM, PST: If you are in the group of people that like to wait till most of the bugs are ironed out of game, then we have news for you. Don’t Starve; Pocket Edition is now out of the beta phase, and ready to be downloaded for the masses! The game is $4.99 to download and doesn’t include any in-app purchases. This game is extremely popular, so if you have been curious to find out what it is all about, now is the time. The link to download the game is below.
I have yet to play Don’t Starve, believe it or not. So, I am excited to finally get an opportunity to check out a game that many people have been raving about, since it was released on PC. The game has been played by over six million people. From what I have read, the game can be pretty tough, but there is plenty to enjoy and explore.
Posted on Klei Entertainment’s Twitter feed a few days ago (Sept.16th), they announced that Don’t Starve Pocket Edition was available to download from the Play Store. Yes, the game is in open-beta, but you will have to pay to download the game. Most people really won’t care about that part, because they have been wanting to play the game so badly in the mobile format. The game is $3.99 to download, and that price is currently at 20% off. Once the game officially releases, the price will go back up.
Just in case you haven’t heard about this game, here is the brief summary of what you will encounter.
“Don’t Starve is an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic. You play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home.” – Klei Entertainment
Don’t Starve Features:
