Samorost 3 finally makes its way to Android devices today

It has been a bit of a wait for the game’s arrival, but Samorost 3 has finally arrived onto Android today. Originally we reported on this game coming to Android a couple of times back in the first half of 2015, so it is finally good to see this game get released. This game was developed by Amanita Designs, who are responsible for Machinarium and Botanicula.

For those of you who missed our previous coverage, Samorost 3 is a combination of exploration and puzzle gameplay, all of which is wrapped up in rather unique, artsy visuals. Players will be following the story of a curious space gnome who is able to use the powers of a magic flute to travel across the cosmos. The reason he is doing all of this traveling is to search and learn about the flute’s origins.

This isn’t the smallest journey either. You’ll be visiting nine unique alien worlds, all of which are full of different creatures and puzzles to complete. These will, hopefully, lead you to the origins of the flute you’re using. As you progress through the game, you’ll learn about each planet and its inhabitants as well.

Samorost 3 is now available for download off of Google Play for $4.99 and does not come with any IAPs or ads. You can check out the game’s trailer below to see a little more on the gameplay. A quick note to Android 4.* users, Samorost 3 is temporarily not available for devices running any 4.* Android OS version. This will be fixed in an update coming soon.
