Pokemon Duel is a strategy board game with all the Pokemon you could want

The Pokemon Company has released another official Pokemon game onto Android today called Pokemon Duel. This particular title is more of a strategy board game where players will be able to craft their own deck of Pokemon characters before jumping into a match with other players to see who comes out on top.

Pokemon Duel has both unranked and ranked matches, so if you just want to play this game for fun, you can do that. If you want to be competitive and try to be at the top of the leaderboards through ranked matches, you can do that as well. All fights are in real-time, and winning matches can net you more Pokemon and items to strengthen your current deck. How do you win a match? You just need to be the first player to get to your opponent’s goal.

In order to get to your opponents goal, you’ll need to figure out the best route to take. This part of the game is done in a turn-based fashion. When you get into a duel, you will set up your Pokemon formation before deciding which route you want to go, such as outright attacking your opponent, or block their path from moving forward. Your deck contains 6 different Pokemon that you’ve chosen to use, each with their own abilities of course.

For those of you wanting to check this game out, Pokemon Duel is available off of Google Play for free and does include optional IAPs. You will also need an Android device running Android 5.0 or higher to play this game. You can check out the game’s trailer below.
