Ubisoft has announced a new Virtual Reality game that will feature the Rabbids called Virtual Rabbids: The Big Plan. Slated for release on Google’s Daydream VR platform, Virtual Rabbids will have players posing as an agent for a classified government agency, and you will need to travel through different locations in order to hunt down a few irreverent Rabbids who have stolen and scrambled a top secret nuclear safety password.
As you hunt for and find these Rabbids, you’ll need to recover each digit of the safety password. This won’t be as easy as a task though as each Rabbid will be in a different situation that you’ll need to deal with. Of course, like an Rabbids game, there will be plenty of humor involved as well. You will need to use both the headset and controller for this game. Everything takes place in various worlds which are full of hidden toys and a lot of tools and odd gadgets to interact with. You’ll be able to use the controller to interact with the objects inside the virtual world in the same way you do in the real world.
Once you have all of the safety code digits, you’ll have hopefully saved the world from nuclear destruction, for the time being anyways. Right now there is just a general ‘Spring’ release time frame for Virtual Rabbids, and no word on pricing either. We will post an update once we learn more. In the meantime, you can check out the game’s trailer below to get a better look at the gameplay.
