Take unlimited virtual journeys for free with Bus Simulator 17 on Android

A bus can have anywhere between 20 and 80 passenger seats on it, but there’s only ever one seat for the driver. You don’t have to be a mathematical genius to realise that the odds are seriously loaded against you ever driving a bus.

But don’t despair, because Bus Simulator 17 lets you drive a virtual bus for as long as you want, whenever you want. And you don’t even need an HGV licence.

You can drive a number of different types of bus, including a yellow school bus, a coach, a double-decker, and one of those articulated bendy buses. And you can drive them in a number of environments, from the middle of a city to the middle of a desert.

Bus Simulator 17 puts you in charge of every aspect of driving a bus. You have to watch the mirrors, indicate before cornering, open the doors so that passengers can get on, close them again so that they don’t fall out, and much more. If you’re feeling brave you can even try changing gears manually.

Travelling traffic

Other traffic plays its part too, with other vehicles on the road behaving authentically by stopping at red lights, indicating at turns, and generally avoiding collisions.

If you don’t fancy the predictable routine of a fixed bus route you can cut loose in Free Ride mode, or create your own routes so as to avoid less desirable areas, just like real bus drivers wish they could do.

Bus Simulator 17 is an incredibly comprehensive package, with three control methods, accurate vehicle models, painstakingly detailed interiors, realistic damage, and weather effects. There’s even multiplayer, allowing you to compete with your friends on the leaderboards.

You can download Bus Simulator 17 for free on Google Play and the App Store right now.
