BugByte has just announced Battlevoid: Sector Siege, a brand new entry in the franchise coming to Android this year. Its set in the near future, when humanity first colonises space to gather resources and contact new life forms.
It doesn’t all go to plan though, as the aliens weren’t as friendly as they hoped. Thus begins an intergalactic war between humanity and everyone else.
Sector Siege challenges you to build your own battle station in the defence of mankind. You’ll outfit it with a crew, equip it with weapons and defences, and craft a fleet able to take on the alien threat.
Battlevoid: Sector Siege
In terms of gameplay, you’ll mostly focus on taking capture points in the galaxy. These provide you with a steady stream of resources, but require defence from the guardians – a dangerous race of aliens.
You can also board and capture alien ships to add them to your fleet, research new technology, and upgrade your equipment to better fight off the enemy.
With a full campaign to complete, domination and under siege game modes, and a ton of ship based battling to take part in, Battlevoid: Sector Siege is one well worth checking out for fans of the franchise.
