Crescent Moon’s Morphite won’t be on Android at launch

Morphite Android

Crescent Moon has just announced a September 7th launch for Morphite across all platforms except Android. We’re still getting it, but not until later this year.

Disappointment aside, Morphite is still shaping up to be an interesting release. It’s basically the mobile version of No Man’s Sky, with an entire galaxy worth of planets to explore.

Morphite won’t be on Android at launch, but it will still arrive this year

We’ve also recently learned more about the plot. You play as Myrah Kale who runs into trouble on a simple mission in space. Thus begins an epic adventure across space as she endeavours to learn more about the mysterious substance, Morphite.

In gameplay terms, this involves travelling to a bunch of random planets, scanning them for resources. You’ll then sell this information to earn money to spend on ship, weapon, and suit upgrades.

Of course, you’ll also shoot space nasties, trade with friendly travellers, and see some exotic planets. If that sounds good to you, keep a close eye on Droid Gamers for that long-awaited Android release date.
