The Guides Axiom Android

The weekend is nearly here, and with it all the time in the world to play some good old games. Fortunately, the week has been good for us so there are loads of new Android games to play.

There’s a decent range as well, from puzzlers, to runners, to board games, there’s something here for you no matter your tastes. Without further ado, here are the best nine new Android games to play this week.

The best new Android game this week: The Guides Axiom

Axiom is a sequel to The Guides, and once again provides a bunch of puzzles to solve. These aren’t just any old puzzles though, they’re seriously challenging and you’ll need to have your wits about you.

It’s basically a collection of codes to crack, and you’ll have to do some serious lateral thinking to achieve that. Go and grab the best game of the week on Google Play right now.

Run-A-Whale

Run-A-Whale is a swashbuckling endless runner in which you ride on a whale’s back across a gorgeous 3D ocean. You’ll tap to dive under the water, and release to fly out into the air.

Using just that one mechanic, you’ll grab coins and beat bosses – all while weather effects and a day and night cycle keep things fresh. Grab it right now on Google Play.

Dungeons & Dragons: Lords of Waterdeep

Dungeons & Dragons: Lords of Waterdeep was a Steam-exclusive digital board game until it came over to Android this week. It’s great to have it on our platform!

You play as one of many Lords vying for power in the city of Waterdeep. You’ll take it in turns setting agents tasks, sending adventurers on quests, and building stuff. Grab it on Google Play.

The Human Age

The Human Age is kind of like a match three puzzler. You swipe to match humans that are on the same stage of the evolutionary scale to advance them. Because it’s as simple as that, right?

You’ll also build the world’s greatest wonders, increase the size of your board (read: world), and meet some of the most amazing humans to have graced the earth. Grab it now on Google Play.

Deliria

Deliria is set in the post apocalyptic future, when earth has been ravaged by asteroids. Dimensional rifts opened as a result, and scientists harnessed them to create gateways to other dimensions.

One of these houses Delirium, a powerful energy source, and you are the overseer tasked with mining it and protecting your base. You’ll hire mercenaries, kill enemies, and use power-ups. Grab it now on Google Play.

Eight Minute Empire

Eight Minute Empire is a multiplayer board game that pretty much does what it says on the tin. You and up to four players take it in turns grabbing one of six resource cards, which also has an action attached.

These actions can help you take over the board game map, which is the goal of the game. But it costs resources, and those are scarce and worth a lot of points.

Basically, you have to balance between taking over the map and keeping on top of your resources. Go and grab it from Google Play.

Vault Raider

Vault Raider is a turn-based dungeon crawler in which you have to help a dwarf defeat enemies, grab loot, and eat a ton of food – all by swiping about a bunch of tiles.

Each level is generated dynamically, and requires you to reach the end without running out of food. If you love dungeon crawlers, grab it on Google Play right now.

Dragonbolt Vanguard

Dragonbolt Vanguard is a hero collector that challenges you to sail from kingdom to kingdom in your airship to recruit the finest heroes in the land.

You’ll then create a team out of them, level them up, and equip them with the best weapons. Then, you can take them into the challenging campaign and PvP arenas. Grab it on Google Play right now.

The Great Mind of Tesla

The Great Mind of Tesla tells the story of the amazing inventor who discovered electricity. It basically plays like a puzzler with story beats, as you learn about Tesla and solve wave motion-based puzzles.

You can also level up Tesla himself to increase the power of his inventions. If you love Tesla, electricity, and puzzlers, grab this on Google Play right now.
