Sega teases Decap Attack as the next Sega Forever game

In a canny move that nobody else has ever thought of ever, Sega is apparently aiming to capitalise on the imminent Halloween festivities by adding Mega Drive classic Decap Attack to its library of free to play Sega Forever games.

In case you haven’t heard of it, Decap Attack is a 1991 platformer starring a mummy called Chuck, who was created by Dr Frank N. Stein to combat the the demon Max D Cap and his army of evil underworld denizens.

For some reason, Dr Stein put Chuck’s face in his torso.

Decap Attack is a mid-level platformer from a bygone era, and its graphics will give you a headache. But it’s vaguely halloweeny, and Sega devotees will be glad to see this obscure classic resurface when it emerges from the grave at some point very soon.

Stay tuned!
