Tencent has released a sneak peak of mobile PUBG

PUBG Mobile Shooters Android

Last year, we learned that Tencent was working on a mobile version of PUBG  (Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds) for the Chinese market. Now, we’ve seen what it looks like.

In a short gameplay teaser, we see a player crawl through bushes to reach the scene of a gunfight. He then pops up and opens fire on the unsuspecting victims, killing them before they can retaliate.

Tencent has revealed gameplay footage for mobile PUBG

Basically, it looks like the real deal – an uncompromised version of PUBG on mobile. No doubt this isn’t representative of the final product. For example, we didn’t see any virtual controls onscreen.

That being said, it’s likely that controllers will be supported, so perhaps this sneak peak wasn’t performed using the touch controls.

That’s what we’re all keen to see though, as it will dictate just how playable PUBG will be on the go. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more, but for now you can check out the new footage here. You can also pre-register here.
