Final Fantasy XV’s King’s Knight is shutting in June

If you’ve ever played Final Fantasy XV, you probably heard Noctis and his friends bang on about King’s Knight. It’s a fictional mobile game they play on their phones while resting.

Did you know it was actually a real mobile game though? Well, it was and still is – for now. Sadly, Square Enix is shutting it down in June so you don’t have very long to check it out.

Before it was a mobile game, it was a side scrolling shooter Square released back in 1986 on the NES. The new version is a vertically scrolling RPG in which you battle bosses with a team of four heroes.

You can play in co-op with up to three friends, or on your own with a team of AI heroes. There are 50 characters to collect that you can send out into battle.

But sadly, as we mentioned earlier, it’s all coming to a close in June. If you want to check out this piece of history, do it now before it closes. Grab it on Google Play.
