You can now fight against your friends in Tekken Mobile, with the caveat that you do have to be near them. It’s local multiplayer only, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Sure, it does limit your ability to play against friends while you’re not in the same city. But let’s be honest, is it a real victory if you don’t see the whites of their teary eyes as you crush their hopes and dreams? We’re not sure.

Street Fighter’s Akuma has also joined the roster as part of this sizeable update. He brings with him a special Waza type, and he’s the only character that can use it.
Alongside Akuma, is a bunch of themed live events, customisation items, and a featured act. There’s even new content unrelated to the fighter, like the introduction of archetypes.
