Anime tie in RWBY: Amity Arena is arriving on Android in Autumn – and looks to offer a Clash Royale style experience.
Its based around RWBY, a show that you can watch on online streaming service Rooster Teeth. It sees a group of kids aiming to become hunters and huntresses in a world threatened by monsters.
So it’s a set up that already sounds a bit like a video game plot already to be honest.
RWBY not arriving ASAP
In any case it’s an anime that’s popular in the West as well as the East. So it’s a shame it looks a tad formulaic, taking quite a bit of inspiration from Clash Royale. Okay maybe not a bit – a lot.
Despite this NHN Entertainment have a good pedigree, so this should be more than serviceable fare for fans of the show. Fingers crossed.
