The best new Android game this week: Monster Hunter Stories – Get it
Monster Hunter Stories is a fully-fledged Monster Hunter on mobile. Well, actually, it’s more like a combination of Monster Hunter and Pokémon, but one well worth playing. It originally launched on 3DS, but this version has great HD visuals and a terrific new touch control scheme to boot.
Marenian Tavern Story – Get it
Marenian Tavern Story is a spiritual successor to Adventure Bar Story, being developed by the same folks. Just like in its inspiration, you have to run your own successful pub by gathering ingredients and developing a bunch of recipes.
Professor Layton: Curious Village HD – Get it
Professor Layton: Curious Village is the adventure game that started it all back in the DS days. Now, it’s available in HD, so you can solve the puzzles all over again on the big screen.
Black Command – Get it
Black Command is a military sim by Capcom, that challenges you to run your own private military company. You’ll hire troops, train them, and send them out to affect global politics.
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope – Get it
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope is the latest entry in the long-running farming sim franchise, and one that celebrates that series’ twentieth anniversary. It expands the formula to include town building, but maintains the ability to develop relationships with the town’s inhabitants.
