Razer Phone 2 has a second stab at owning Android gaming

Razer Phone 2 Android

The Razer Phone 2 has just arrived, and with it Razer will once again try and corner the Android gaming market.

So what’s different about the new model? Well, to be quite frank, not an awful lot.

It’s a teensy bit bigger and heavier, though not enough that you’ll really notice. The screen is the same size and resolution, and the camera is identical to last year’s model.

The Razer Phone 2 provides minor, if welcome, upgrades over the original

New is the faster Snapdragon 845 processor, water resistance, and the ability to wirelessly charge it. Oh, and the screen is 50% brighter, and still supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

So, should you buy it? Well, that all comes down to whether or not you own the original. If you have a Razer Phone already, the small number of improvements probably won’t justify a double dip.

However, if you don’t currently own a Razer Phone it’s certainly an interesting proposition for a gaming smartphone. You can grab it right here on the official Razer Store.
