Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland is coming to Android today in Japan, Square Enix has announced.
If you haven’t heard of it before, Monsters is a spin-off series of Dragon Quest.
Dragon Quest Monsters is basically a Pokémon-style spin-off series
It takes its cues from Pokémon, with you playing as a character that catches and breeds monsters.
These monsters then battle in place of your character, who doesn’t fight. They can all level up and learn skills just like in the core games.
Terry’s Wonderland is a 3DS entry in the franchise that launched back in 2012. This port will feature enhancements for mobile like auto battles, new monsters and skills, and an area known as El Dorado to explore.
It will launch on Android today in Japan. Hopefully we’ll get a full global release soon.
