Best Android racing games 2018

Asphalt 9: Legends Android Xbox Live

Love racing games? Fortunately, Android is absolutely chock full of them. No matter your tastes, there’s something here to suit everyone. We’ve got simulations for car lovers, arcade racers for those that want to drive really fast, and kart racers for those that just want to have fun. Here are favourite five racing games on Android.

Asphalt 9: Legends – Get it

Asphalt 9: Legends is the latest entry in Gameloft’s hit racing franchise. The Asphalt series draws inspiration from Burnout and Need for Speed, so it’s perfect for fans of that type of racer.

The latest entry in the franchise includes snazzier visuals, a new touch control scheme, and over 50 new vehicles to collect and customise.

CSR Racing 2 – Get it

CSR Racing 2 is a gorgeous drag racer that aims for pure realism. You’ll race against real players in custom-built supercars, which are fully-licensed.

You’ll restore a classic car like the McLaren F1, Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, or Lamborghini Countach LP from rags to riches and race against real players in multiplayer.

Horizon Chase – World Tour – Get it

Horizon Chase harkens back to the 16-bit era, bringing retro-style racing to your mobile. That doesn’t extend to the visuals though, which are absolutely gorgeous.

If you prefer arcade racers and hanker for the days of the SNES, this is the racer for you. With 10 cups, 40 cities, and 92 tracks, there’s a lot of content here to race through.

Real Racing 3 – Get it

Real Racing 3 focuses on licenses, with 39 different official tracks to race through and over 140 cars to collect. In terms of modes, you’ve got a bunch of different events to race through alongside real time multiplayer.

Riptide GP Renegade – Get it

Riptide GP Renegade is a little bit different. It’s a hydrojet racer full of stuns, gorgeous 3D environments, and cops to run away from.

You can basically consider it a water version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, with you outrunning the cops while also racing through water-themed tracks.
